Pros

They need you to be up to speed when speaking to customers and for the most part, you are well supported as you learn the ropes. Busy times can be stressful, but people are generally very helpful.

Cons

Restrictive environment like a typical helpdesk. You may not get lunch break until late if you are on a long call. Pay is a little low for what you are expected to handle.

They hire the best people Great training program Ok Benefits (not salary) Nice office building

Cons

Technical staff are underpaid Lack of Vision Lack of willingness to fix fundamental issues Lack of courage to make necessary changes Resistance to new technologies You won’t get a work laptop You won’t get the necessities for development You won’t be appreciated for what you do You won’t get a clear UI mock for your projects Teams keep making breaking changes for other teams Late and unfair reviews No long-term and badly planned short-term projects Unreliable systems Almost no opportunity to grow

Thank you for your review. We strive to make sure that every employee feels valued and supported each day. Performance reviews are completed on an annual basis. While in the past reviews may have been delayed we recently updated our performance management process to ensure employees receive feedback in a timely fashion. We invest in our employees and the tools they use every day. In fact, we even have a professional development department that works with employees to help them identify career paths within the organization and supports them throughout their professional development.

Pros

This position was a great starting position in the company which can eventually lead you to numerous other opportunities. The company is growing at a healthy rate and so many new positions are being created and filled at LCS as they grow. The training program for Product Support is 8 weeks but you will constantly be learning even after your training is over. Management is very helpful and they are invested in the companies success. The CEO is a very respectable man who shows his appreciation and dedication to his employees in numerous ways. You will definitely feel secure with the company and be surrounded by some really good people.

Cons

The position can be very stressful at times. Not because of the customers on the phone, but because of the type of problems you will be dealing with. The software is very large and it is impossible to become an expert. At times I felt unfit to give people the help they need. There is also stress coming from management and the judgement of your performance. It seemed like all that mattered was the number of tickets you closed and if you weren't meeting the quota, you were less valuable.

Recently, we also implemented a new Professional Development program to provide more ongoing support and coaching to employees. Pros

LCS is a growing and productive company. They have great software and amazing support for their customers. It has been a joy working for them, feeling appreciated for the job that I do, and making our customer's lives better in the process. Their training program for new hires is top notch and really gets new employees ramped up quickly and efficiently.

Cons

If there is one thing I would improve at LCS, it would be that once the training is over, there is not a whole lot of documentation for the job at hand. It is very much a tribal knowledge sort of thing where you just learn the ins and outs. While there are plenty of resources to turn to, sometimes the process documentation can be lacking.
