Low pay, decent benefits.

Pros

Casual environment amongst a small company. Will work to find a good fit for each employee. Hours are typically 9-6, M-F. No weekends. Full-time employees are offered reasonably priced health benefits, life insurance, and PTO after 6 months.

Cons

Low pay, $0.25 raises, no real advancement. Health plans are mediocre. Lots of potential for drama amongst different departments. Employees required to clock out for breaks. Seniority seems to take priority over common decency in HR disputes. Department managers are hit-and-miss, some lacking crucial managerial and interpersonal skills. Communication is lacking. Training is also hit-and-miss, depending on department.

Its like working with family

Pros

You can have fun and become very close with coworkers in a very lax environment.

Cons

Like working with family you realize you are underpaid quickly. Like working with family there is a ton of fighting, especially amongst management. I have seen several people leave for the day, or forever due to fighting.
