Pros

I've worked for LSLA for over 5 years and love it. Plenty of training opportunities, a lot of knowledgeable, passionate attorneys and the firm offers great benefits, lots of time off and a free healthcare plan.

Cons

Technology is outdated, especially the client system we use. That should be changing soon, however.

Pros

Working with attorneys who have unmatched heart for their work, inspiring dedication to assisting vulnerable populations, and a serious commitment to helping each other succeed.

Cons

Poverty is a tough opponent. The ups and downs of staffing a nonprofit on temporary grants can be a tough climate at times. As is with anything related to the federal government, federal grant oversight seems inefficient and overly burdensome.
