The people are what makes Lone Star great. However, Lone Star fails to realize that good employees are one of a company's biggest asset.

High turnover, pays below market, benefits are expensive and not great, work life balance, never being appreciated

The commute was very short.

Cons

The culture is toxic and uncomfortable. The turnover is high. Month end close is high pressured leading to errors and very late hours, which isn’t appreciated. Management is unprofessional, controlling and demeaning. The culture won’t change if those in charge have been there for a long time and are set in their ways. If your skin color is anything but white be prepared to be treated differently and not in a positive way.
