Pros

Medical and dental insurance is reasonably priced and starts immediately. Three weeks vacation, with 12 sick and 5 personal days. Opportunity to earn clinical hours. Staff at main location is fun and family-like. Freedom to develop group curriculums.

Cons

Most positions are split between two or three locations. 2 nights are required, ending at 8 or 9pm. Everything is on paper. No EHR. No electronic benefits tracking. Agency as a whole is disorganized. Supervision is not taken seriously. Minimal oversight at affiliated locations. Absolutely no training or explanation of procedure when you start. All employees are expected to fundraise by selling raffles and pay for tickets to attend fundraisers where they work the whole time. All employees are expected to contribute to United Way. Management clearly has favorites. Psychodynamic push. Higher ups discredit other modalities.
