Pros

Good compensation for the amount of work that is expected.

Cons

Very limited position advancement opportunities. Material is pretty poorly prepared. Summer course material was absolutely horrendous. Really depends on what school you are placed at, but the management is pretty flimsy. In regards to headquarters management there exists an "us vs them" mentality with upper management not being helpful. Using bullying techniques, and I quote " foreign teachers think they can't be replaced" when discussing contracts.

Pros

Low total work hours per week, lots of potential overtime, I've heard better salary for foreign teachers than most training centers. They will never under pay or forget to pay you. Teaching the kids feels good. They give you 10 vacation days every year. After one year can request 3 weeks leave.

Cons

The human resources department takes a long time to get back to you and is not always helpful. Some local teachers feel overburdened and mistreated. It's hard a lot of times to get local teachers to understand you and help you in class. Safety and working conditions of some campuses questionable. A lot of unpaid trainings and meetings you are usually not told about in advance.
