Excellent On-The-Job Training and someone is always there to help you if you ever have any questions.

Cons

Very busy pharmacy! If you can't keep up and learn quickly, then you'll be left in the dust. If you can't take the heat, then this position may not be the best suited for you.

An 'okay' company to use as a stepping stone

Pros

Good pay for Certified Pharmacy Technicians. You learn a lot about prior authorizations. Networking with good people.

Cons

No raise. Yearly reviews to increase productivity but no increased salary. No structure to leadership. Protocol can change from day to day. Your value is based on your ability to suck up to your management. Micromanagement is very stressful. Management plays on their phone too much. The workplace can be hostile. No room for promotion.
