Don’t believe all of the picture perfect reviews on Glassdoor. They are largely manufactured by HR pushing people to the site following training and induction courses, when they have barely joined the business and can’t give a balanced view. This is how the company achieved 200 positive reviews and a „great company to work for accolade“. The same HR team completely ignores the stance and feedback of about 2,000 colleagues leaving the business each year due to low morale, poor job satisfaction, disengaged senior team and lots of redundancies. No leadership. Company is run by people determined to turn Lookers into another DFS with no understanding of motor industry and no regard for inherent culture at Lookers. Just mindlessly copying processes and ideas from previous employer with empty slogans about becoming noticeably better. No delivery on any projects: poor recruitmemt, disasterous redundancies, children in need sponsorship which became a massive distraction and customer ratings that provide no real insights.
