I have been working at Lorna Jane part-time for less than a year
Pros
Good staff discount, and great team to work with
Cons
Don't pay staff correctly, will tell you one thing in an interview and then employ you to do another, head office only cares about KPI'S and selling, very little support from management

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Lorna Jane full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
- Amazing product + discount - Solid and relevant brand message - Lorna Jane has a very flat structure so many roles have direct access to the owners of the business. They are true entrepreneurs who have built Lorna Jane from the ground up, so it's great to learn from them and hear about their vision for the company and their insights.
Cons
Fast-paced, sales environment with a heavy focus on KPIs and performance. This isn't a challenge per se, however to thrive in this environment you have to love a challenge, be intrinsically motivated and be results-orientated.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI have been working at Lorna Jane part-time
Pros
Making life long friends. Meeting health conscious women
Cons
Excepted unpaid overtime. Tricks to customers to buy more made me feel sick. If no customers in the store it was somehow your fault. Threats of hours or your job cut if sales were low. Unreasonable expectations of still wanting high sales in the middle of winter during days of storms. Causing anxiety among staff. Minimal staff discount. Management at head office have it worse from Lorna and her husband Bill. Truly evil couple.

RecommendsNeutral OutlookI worked at Lorna Jane full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Great positive and happy people to work with Great support from head office and customer support if needed in-store (they are always on call) 40% off full price items
Cons
Too sales and target focused - can be off putting to customers and get the opposite effect Bonuses are given to employees in Lorna Jane vouchers that have to be spent in your store within 3 months - no cash incentives Claims items and fabrics have certain ‘unique’ qualities that aren’t based on facts and/or proven results.
Pros
Made good friends while working there
Cons
Didn’t get a stable salary.
