Don’t accept a job at lotus

Pros

None, none, none, none and none.

Cons

I accepted a job, left my previous employment then, night before my first day, lotus ‘indefinitely deferred’ position. So I was left with no job or benefits. Apparently they had just lost a bunch of contracts. Very unprofessional. Don’t make the mistake I did.

Pros

Great pay and chance to expand career goals with bonus opportunities. Team members are welcoming and willing to go the extra mile for you

Cons

DM department is a joke. Will eventually crash and burn sometime this year, in a span of one year the department has shrunk from 10 members to 2 leads and 2 support. HR posts fake reviews and actively encourages personnel to post positive reviews because they're scared current ratings will ward off potential candidates. Absolutely no support and an inexperienced department head with unrealistic expectations and furthermore doesn't understand simple processes like filing. Leads in DM work 60+ hours and get hounded to work on days off. I've never seen a company run so inefficiently, sponsors are canceling contracts mid study and turning to other organizations because Lotus has poor trial oversight.

Poor Leadership in DM

Recommend
CEO approval
Business outlook

Pros

upward mobility and good benefits package

Cons

Data Management used to be a strength at Lotus, but now it is a liability. The lack of leadership and competence of the SVP of Biometrics has ruined morale and gutted the department. In a little over a year, we went from a group of 10 people in DM, to now down to 3 Data Managers. The most senior level DM personnel left and we lost a lot of corporate knowledge with them. This speaks to the poor guidance from the SVP of Biometrics. As people left over the last 15 months, decisions were made to not hire replacements, but add more work on DM team members that remained. This has lasted until now, and its an untenable situation.
