They spent excessive amounts of money on new facilities and equipment... there's a nice view.
Cons
The station went downhill almost immediately when Lotus purchased it, culminating in a mass layoff "to save money" but resulting in a very poor product. Very poor upper management skills, very poor decisions without understanding the local market, spending tons on new facilities while paying poorly and expecting one person to do the work of two or three.
