Pros

Weekday hours, weekends off. Holidays off. Health insurance, and retirement. Being able to help people when they really need it.

Cons

Pay does not reflect the amount of work you do. No pay raises. Very little room for advancement. Takes too long to make decent pay here. Workers who have been here for years are being used to train new hires, while the new hires get promotions. Racism and favoritism are factors that will determine how you will be treated at this agency, and it has been like that for YEARS. No one does anything about it. Agency in BR is in a dangerous area, and parking is terrible. A word of advice... Don't get stuck here, it's not worth it.

Benefits, stability and retirement. If you are smart and hard working, there are opportunities.

Cons

Leadership changes every 4 to 8 years at which time you have to undo everything that you have been doing for the 4 to 8 years. Then you have to start doing the exact opposite for the next 4 to 8 years. On top of this, each new administration brings in their own people whether they are qualified or not. This can be good or bad. Sometimes you get good qualified Leadership but sometimes you get the complete opposite.

Favoritism Racism with all races A group of leaders will try to set others up for termination Disrespect towards people with lower positions The CEO Ava Cates actually curses at the higher staff to get her point across Family members and people with personal history get favors
