It’s all about the ego and image! Never the people!

Pros

Has the ability to do meaningful work

Cons

Owner is a giant baby, always on a “rampage”. No communication and incredibly toxic environment. Why do we need 3 jets? 46 cars? A herd of white rhinos? 9 million dollar home? Sponsor Indy and NASCAR? Spend $50k on Super Bowl tickets? But cut our $15 an hour MA’s so we can’t provide safe treatment to our patients. Why do supervising physicians often live out of state? Why are our COLA audits a joke?

Pros

The connections I made with my patients, their appreciation for helping them improve themselves.

Cons

The company is very disorganized. There is a severe lack of communication. Information is not passed along as it should be. There were occasions pertinent information was not passed from corporate to the clinic & clinic function/operations were affected. The company tries to have too many new things going on, lets things fall through the cracks, doesn't properly train staff, doesn't do effective marketing, then can't figure out why they ended up with multiple unsuccessful services. There is zero forward thinking. The girls who worked at the corporate office where extremely immature and not helpful. Childish things were always going on, including questionable practices. Not many people had integrity. It was a very catty environment, with a lot of gossip & people trying to get into your personal business. The corporate girls were extremely quick to offer zero help then throw you under the bus. They do not care about your happiness or work life balance unless you are the right persons "friend". There is a lot of brown nosing that goes on & people not only need to get ahead but they aren't happy until they see you fail. It is a very toxic environment to work in. Corporate & clinic management do not offer any support. They are very lazy & quick to pin the blame on you. The clinic in Southlake is very difficult to work in. There are employees that are rude, pushy, & lack a heart for patients. Individuals try to put their nose in places it does not belong & affect the decisions upper management makes. One employee is allowed more power than she should & abuses it. The clinic did not have space for an office for me, I was not allowed to share an office (which had two desks/more than enough space). The upper management allowed her to shove me off, put me in a closet & force me to work from there. I came to the company with a college degree & 3 years of experience but was denied an office & given unsuitable working conditions. There is a lack of appreciation that is extremely disheartening. Upper management will never acknowledge a job well done, especially if you aren't their "friend". You do not earn vacation days or sick days. You get a week of PTO each year that you have to use for your sick days, vacation, & any time off. You don't get retirement. The health benefits aren't very good.

Thank you for your feedback and sorry your experience at LTC didn't meet your expectations. As an entrepreneurial business, we move quickly and sometimes communication can lag - which is an area we are working to improve upon. Unprofessional behavior is not tolerated at any level of the organization when we are aware of it. Our desire is to have team members who are engaged and motivated to improve their patients' lives while excelling and thriving in their roles. We are not the right fit for everyone however and wish you all the best.

Pros

Patients do well with treatment, improved quality of life

Cons

Corporate unresponsive to concerns, hired with promise of time off and bonus structure, main directives are based solely on profit, seldom address health, safety and privacy concerns , extremely high turn over because staff are over worked and underpaid, constantly implementing new protocols to make bonus structure too difficult to obtain, over charge patients frequently, slow to refund $$ when patients discover overages. Good luck getting any of that paid time off, there is never additional coverage so PTO you start with or accumulate will never be used! Try not to ever have a family emergency, because you will not be able to take off.
