Pros

They pay well...which means they obviously don't know how to treat people well.

Cons

If you choose to work at Lucifer Lighting, you should know in advance that the family members who are working for this business will absolutely treat you like garbage. Every single time. It might not happen in the first six months, and it might be wrapped in catered Thanksgiving lunches and really expensive office furniture, but it will absolutely happen eventually. They'll not do what they're supposed to do or they'll be unable to make a key decision or they'll fail to give you information that you need to know, and then they'll write you up for not knowing what was in their heads but never communicated to you. I'm not exaggerating. Don't believe me? When you interview, ask people how long they've been there. Most will say less than 2 years. And if they don't, ask to meet a few more people. Then ask whether ownership follows the same rules as the rest of the employees. It'll be pretty clear that the horrible things people say about working here are true. Just in the last six or seven months, they've lost their CFO, VP of operations, VP of customer service, manufacturing lead, and so many others. If they can't keep talent for more than two years, why would you waste your time there?

Pros

you get a paycheck regularly?

Cons

extremely sexist environment, CEO is way to involved in personal business and also requires all women in the office to wear dresses. It is overall a very strange environment.

Pros

-they can pay well. - week off during Christmas for annual shutdown.

Cons

-Ownership only listens to select few favorites. -Do not seem to value all long-time employees. -Ownership is about the “Lucifer Look.” Don’t be fooled. At the end of the day, they want the company to look beautiful... lip stick on a pig. -Extremely high turn over of personnel. You cannot make any good changes when you are constantly losing co-workers and having to spend your time training new hire-ons. -No matter if you are a great asset to the company or not, if ownership (or a favorite manager of ownership) doesn’t like you (it could even be for your looks!) you are not going to last long. -Money is #1 -Teams are on skeleton crews... except engineering. -No work/Life balance. -At the end of the day, despite trying very hard, you can’t make a difference... ownership is stuck in their ways... and everyone leaves... -Too many cons to list...
