Pros

Looks, a growing industry, shiny lights. Insurance is average, flexible hours depending on who your boss is. Production is local to Montreal.

Cons

Reality, the annual "reviews" based on anything other than performance or actual work done. Lumenpulse and innovation are not synonymous. Don't expect to be woo'd once you're hired, and in the thick of it. Perception is everything; leave your competence at the door. Yes the offices look great, but from top down management often feels like the equivalent of the CTO stomping on a light to get it to work. Fall into line, know your place, and try not to have too many "out loud" ideas and you'll do just fine.

Good if you are desperate for a job that requires no qualifications

Medical inssurance (if you actually use it, otherwise its a waste of money).

Cons

It's more important who you know than doing a good job. The floor managers are constantly pressuring you to do overtime (you may consider that an advantage depending in what you are looking for).

Local branch is a group of small, dedicated teams with the feel of a startup but the know-how and resources of a company that's been around a while. A fun place to work and a great place to learn.

Cons

Didn't see any substantial downsides in my time there.
