Pros

Decent CEO, but needs to employ in his likeness, not a bunch of sycophants and 'yes men/women'

Cons

Pay is awful Seems to be ingrained into the culture to be late to meetings, or just not turn up. Key and job critical information not being passed down from 'Management' to operational teams HR haven't got a clue about anything and sit in their offices with door shut, eyes and ears closed to what is happening Lack of overall accountability and ownership 'But we've always done it that way' mentality Budgets cut, meaning tools required to carry out the job are not made available Micromanagement Loss of one client almost brought the whole business down

Pros

They make defense products, which is cool but after my experience, I do not have any good things to say.

Cons

was offered a phone interview for a role within this company. Sales manager handling accounts for their chemical products division. First phone interview was well, based on my skills and experience, I asked for $86k which I was told was on base salary range for the role! All to find out two hours before my 2nd interview that despite making requirements the role is for only $55k base salary w/ “commission / bonuses” Don’t waste sometimes time and lie to them just to try and under cut them… That is unethical business practices and I want anyone and everyone to know when applying to this company, all they will want to do is undercut you. Steer clear and save yourself the trouble. How can you say an international travel type of role is only worth $55k a year but lie to my face that the base salary is $80k-$90k?! Shame on Luxfer Magtech beware to other applicants!
