Pros

Very flexible with hours, management respond quickly, structured lesson plans. I really love working for Lyngo! Although the pay is less than minimum wage, it's helping me earn extra money to save more and do what I love doing - teaching English!

Cons

Low pay. That's to be expected though since wages in my country are much higher than wages in Japan. I can't think of any other cons.

Pros

The students are motivated and fun to teach, and the management team is friendly and responsible. Being able to work from home is also really convenient, and the hours are flexible.

Cons

As others have mentioned, the compensation isn't great. And the work of tutoring within the curriculum, while it can be interesting and is effective for students, is not particularly challenging for those who are looking to teach professionally.

Pros

Flexible schedule, the students are great and generally they are motivated. The management is friendly and helpful. They pay reliably and on time. The classes that you teach are prepared for you so there is no prep time out of class, but they are open enough to allow you to be creative with their execution.

Cons

The pay isn't all that great. It is a start up company so I am hoping there will be additional opportunities in the future.
