Pros

Can't think of anything positive. I feel I was reeled in during the interview process but it didn't take long for the true colours to show.

Cons

Shudder to think of my time there. Very unhappy place to work. The two directors believe their own hype but in reality are not pleasant people. They've been on a big recruitment drive recently, it will be interesting to see how long those people last before they fall out of favour.

Pros

Colleagues are great and the projects I had were interesting

Cons

It's all going downhill, the big contracts that were promised haven't happened, people leaving in droves, offices closing, senior people gone. Mainly due to the management style of the MDs.

Dissapointed: Would Avoid

Pros

Pay was okay a bit higher than average and a good work life balance.

Cons

The company described during the interview is very different to the one i was in. I was promised a lot in the way of benefits for them never to materialise. No real career progression. When asking to undertake coursework it's all positive until it comes to actually submitting the request, it then becomes slow and drawn out to the point you give up. No prospect of promotions or pathways to achieve them. It felt very directionless / rudderless with no clear signs of communication between the various ranks. MDs nowhere to be found when needed despite claiming they are open to all communication. When there were issues to solve, the team felt alone. As a result, there is a constant negative atmosphere. Processes seem confusing and illogical with respect to project bidding. Sad to say it has felt like a backwards step in my career.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. We’re pleased that you recognised some positives around compensation and work-life balance, but it’s clear from your comments that other aspects of your experience fell short, particularly in relation to communication, career development, and follow-through on commitments. As a growing business, we recognise that there have been areas where our structure, processes, and consistency have needed to evolve. That is something we are actively addressing. This includes clearer career pathways, more structured development and learning support, improved communication across teams, and greater visibility and accessibility from leadership. Your comments regarding progression and development are particularly important. We are currently strengthening our approach to career frameworks and ensuring that requests for learning and development are handled more transparently and efficiently. We also acknowledge the feedback around alignment and clarity. As we scale, ensuring consistency in how we operate and communicate across the business is a key priority, and we are taking steps to improve this. While we may not fully recognise every aspect of your experience, we do take the themes seriously and are committed to continuous improvement. If you would be open to it, we would welcome the opportunity to understand your experience in more detail. Please feel free to reach out to us directly and confidentially. We’re sorry that this role did not meet your expectations and that it felt like a step back for you. We wish you every success in your future career.
