Intellectually challenging job where one learns from absurdly brilliant people in a family-like environment
Pros
You get to work with rocket scientists. Literally. The level of knowledge is just phenomenal. And the modesty, humbling. People at LzLabs don't need to prove *anything* to *no-one* in the mainframe application modernisation industry. You get a very high level of autonomy to get your job done. You can really see your contribution to business-critical initiatives. The company is introducing the OKR management philosophy. The level of openness and collaboration between departments is really high, which helps to overcome silos. If you thrive in corporate politics, LzLabs is *not* the place for you.
Cons
Management reacts super fast, but often communicates super slowly. It can be difficult to understand what's on their minds. The company's got a product with the potential to become a paradigm changer. But it still needs to define (and own) its niche in a growing market that is far from being fully chartered.
