Pros

I was recruited to work at M4 Engineering out of college and I cannot communicate enough just how much I appreciate the time I spent there. The CEO, Dr Myles Baker, and the Vice President Dr Kevin Roughen are two of the smartest, hardest working individuals I have ever known. The senior engineers there are also just incredible people who are highly skilled and absolute experts in their fields. You will get the oppoortunity to work contracts supporting both the public and private sector and you will develop new skill sets, learn new tools, and become an all around better engineer. Because I am a big fan of bullet lists, here is a bullet list outlining some of things I really appreciated about working there: *Opportunity to work on a wide variety of incredible engineering projects. *Work alongside consumate professionals from all disciplines of engineering. *Competetive and fair compensation and benefits packages. *Ambition and hard work are encouraged and rewarded. If you have a good work ethic, want to work with people you will come to call friends, and aren't afraid to get out of your comfort zone and grow as an engineer, then I strongly recommend joining the M4 Engineering team.

Cons

I don't have a whole lot negative to say about working at M4 Engineering. If you're looking for a job where you will sit in a cubicle 5 days a week work 40 hours and never really make anything that you can feel proud of, it may not be the place for you. You'll occasionally have to get your hands dirty there, and it's a relatively small team so you'll be asked to work across multiple projects sometimes which will require you to have a good sense of time management and ability to know what your limits are. It can be challenging at times, but largely that's because you'll be having to do things that mediocre engineers just aren't capable of or are too afraid to try. Due to the contract and consulting nature of this business, you may find yourself working a long way from the main office a good portion of the time, but some people are into that (I kinda was).
