Pros

Somewhat flexible ability to work from home but my manager has even tried to restrict that.

Cons

Completely mismanaged because they promote favorites over people who actually know what they're doing. Severe imbalance between salaries/workloads of those at the top and those in the field doing the hard work. Consistent budget crisis cited for lack of promotions but now everyone needs to be a fundraiser despite not getting paid appropriately. Constant change of platforms and processes make it extremely difficult for new hires to adjust.

Pros

Working with victims of impaired driving crashes and helping them find their voice.

Cons

Rabid focus on fundraising to the detriment of programs, victims served, staff and original grassroots mission.

Pros

Helping people in my community.

Cons

Management is toxic. HR is toxic. And it’s a game of who can kiss each others butts more as far as upper management goes. The whole job is focused on fundraising only. Victim services is losing grant money and is not fully funded. Run from this place. They will fire you if you don’t get enough monetary donations.
