Pros

We started off having the most amazing manager but as soon as she is on sick leave for 3 weeks everything changes. My colleagues were my best friends.

Cons

Working at Mars Capital was nothing short of nightmare. From the moment my very loyal trusted team manager had informed us of her sick leave for 3 weeks I started to witness the absolute corporate greed and heartlessness that these other managers in the office hold. My experience as an employee since my manager no longer being in office has been nothing but a series of horrors, culminating in wrongful termination of multiple team members. First and foremost, the management at Mars Capital displayed a breathtaking lack of empathy towards its employees. My termination was a chilling display of cruelty that made me question the bank's commitment to basic human decency. The pressure to meet unrealistic targets was relentless, even after our client (AIB) had caused countless amount of errors and put our customers under intense stress on countless occasions, the bank's management seemed to derive perverse pleasure from pushing their employees to the brink of physical and emotional exhaustion. They fostered a culture of cutthroat competition that left no room for teamwork or cooperation. In this grim atmosphere, the well-being of employees was relegated to a mere afterthought. The final straw in my nightmarish experience at Mars Capital was my wrongful termination. Despite dedicating countless hours of hard work and enduring the psychological toll of this hostile work environment, I was abruptly and unjustly dismissed. The reasoning behind my termination reeked of retaliation for my attempts to bring to light the inhumane treatment of the customers. The bank's blatant disregard for labor laws and ethics was laid bare, as I was shown the door without so much as a fair hearing. My time at Mars Capital was a harrowing experience that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. The callousness of the management, the exploitation of employees, and the unjust termination I endured are indicative of an institution that prioritizes profit over the well-being of its workforce. I implore anyone considering a career at Mars Capital to think twice and weigh the potential consequences of entering this heartless corporate abyss. It's a place where compassion is a scarce commodity and job security is a fleeting illusion.

Pros

- Good work colleagues. - A couple of social events annually along with other activities.

Cons

- Management generally don't care less when you bring issues such as understaffing and stress to their attention. - Atrocious salary considering what is expected and the fact we have taken on more work.

Pros

set shift pattern for 9-5 8-4

Cons

Really bad business structure. An overload of account work whilst being expected to manage inbound lines. Decisions on accounts made by hier archy who are eager to evict people from their homes whilst you are expected to be empathetic to the inflicted customers ( you will struggle morally within this role ). Really poor inexperienced management on the large part who do not action requests and have diabolical people skills. I had applied for holdiays in January for July which were declined and in an other instance gave 2 months pre warning I was unable to work a monday due to being away on a trip and advised I would be taking AL. A week and a half before this I was told they could not give me AL and I would be expected to work causing me to travel home early. Please do yourself and your career a favour and avoid this place ( Barclays are always looking)
