An awesome place to begin your banking career.

Pros

Awesome people, management is generally good. Training and career path structure are great and readily available. Hours are flexible and saturdays off are almost guaranteed. Awesome benefits and the family atmosphere can not be understated! Not as sales driven as "banks" because it is a credit union. Really cares about its products and its members.

Cons

Change is slow, and pay is lower than the industry average. Some people are in positions and no one knows what they actually do, which makes knowing their pay grade frustrating. No other real cons that aren't common in every decent sized organization.

Pros

MAX is a great place to be! I love how active MAX is in the community and how I am encouraged to grow both professionally and personally. I've made lasting friendships here and have a great team who I look forward to seeing daily!

Cons

There's not much room to advance in the smaller departments. Hopefully as MAX continues to grow, opportunities will also.

Pros

Air conditioning works most of the time, some co workers can be great to work with, 45 minute lunch

Cons

What a crock. Liars, cheating the system, focused only on sales which most people input wrongly and then get paid for while you morally do your part and have to work hard to honestly reach your goals. Want to work until 6-6:30 2-3 times a week? MAX! Want low pay compared?! MAX. Want to be able to do almost anything in anyone’s account unsupervised and then get in trouble if you are new and mess something up? You chose Max! Put in a 2 week and then get “fired” and told it was for misconduct. Okay max lol
