Thank you for taking time to share your employee experience at MBL. We regret that your endorsement was less-than-positive, however, this feedback is incredibly valuable to our leadership team as we're always seeking to improve our employees' experience. This review suggests that your feedback is directed at an isolated client project/team and, perhaps not at MBL Technologies as an organization?. In either case, MBL wants all of our employees to feel supported and empowered to contribute and lead, and in this case, we did not deliver. For that we are truly sorry we let you down. We welcome any additional suggestions you may have to be sent to careers@mbltechnologies.com. Best of luck and many thanks for the review.

Pros

Small company with low overhead due to use of virtual office space only as needed, enables more competitive salaries. Telework is nice, but not always conducive to effective communication and leadership. The company get togethers are fun, and using the Caps season ticket seats was also a perk.

Cons

It shouldn't be surprising that even in such a small company, the bottom line will always trump everything else. And yet, when that became my reality, it was still a huge shock. The individuals I believed were my friends and allies proved themselves otherwise. Loyalty at MBL is expected to flow up, and if you are lucky will sometimes flow down, but that can (and will?) quickly and easily change. If you go to work for MBL, keep in mind that you and only you will be looking after your bottom line. There is no clear path for career advancement within the company. Basically, if leadership likes you, you will be promoted, and your ideas will be given a voice, etc... If you fall out of favor though, watch out!

Good afternoon! First, I want to thank you for taking the time to recount your experience while employed at MBL Technologies. Although your time at MBL did not seemingly end on a positive note, I appreciate your willingness to credit our company with your comments in the "pro" section. As with all businesses, profitability and "the bottom-line" will always be a priority, as this is how businesses keep their employees employed. MBL is no exception. Our focus on profitability translates into annual compensation increases, generous bonuses and ensures that we can continue hosting the fun company get-togethers, as noted in your review. We are happy to report that our average employee tenure is well within the national average for consulting companies. Understanding that nothing last forever, MBL's goal is to foster a work environment that develops our employees and prepares them for their next opportunity. I apologize that we did not meet our goal in this instance. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Good people, has potential.

Pros

People are good. It's heavy on the remote work, ONLY if the contract your working on doesn't require on site. Has potential since they do seem to be a little unsure on their goals. You have a chance to make a name for yourself if you chose to.

Cons

They talk about how a remote working culture is a great benefit. That doesn't mean anything if you have to be onsite everyday for your client. You can't any compensation for that. Since your salaried you have to work extra since your obligated to work 8 hours a day for your client. There is some sort of bonus at the end of the year, but there are no details and no one is screaming how awesome it is.

Thank you for your review of MBL Technologies. We appreciate your honest feedback and your optimism about our company's potential. We agree, MBL is a great place to kick-start a consulting career and make a name for oneself. As is the case with any small-to-mid size consulting firm, flexibility and nimbleness are key when meeting the needs of clients, which may require some team members to work on client site. In an effort to put this valuable feedback into practice, the Talent Management team is focusing on creating an inclusive program for all employees that promotes work/life balance beyond telecommuting projects. If there is any additional feedback that could further improve our employee experience, please do not hesitate to contact us at careers@mbltechnologies.com. Best of luck to you!
