They DON'T care

Pros

To learn a few basic things about electronics

Cons

There is NO Loyalty there, they simply DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU!! You are only a number and treated poorly. The pay sucks and they preach about quality products a lot but DON'T practice what they preach! Thats why they are in trouble, it's always quanity or quality! I don't know where they find some of the management people, they are mostly clueless and the CEO lies to everyone. We were told, promised, guaranteed that our jobs were safe but weeks later layed off after they got what they wanted out of us. The place is a disaster, controlled chaos. If you enjoy low pay, being lied to, used and abused it's the place for you.

Pros

- Getting laid off will help open one's eyes to see that MUCH better jobs are available in the area than this place...

Cons

- Low morale throughout the plant - 'Pay' and 'Benefits' are a complete joke - Management relies on intimidation and deceit to keep employees in line - Frequent plant shutdown days requiring employees to take days off from their vacation time, so much so that employees' vacation time is virtually dictated by the company's schedule, not the employee's - Training for new employees/temps amounts to OJT, often by other employees who have only recently been hired. Doesn't really work out to well due to management that keeps cracking the whip on employees to push product out, rather than trying to help newbies learn the ropes of their new job... - Very frequent layoffs; don't expect job stability in this place

Pros

Pays better than unemployment and they do give vacation

Cons

Had to take 10 days off without pay in the first 3 months of the year. They will send you home anytime things get slow. They laid off over 500 people in 2 years. They have less than 500 now.
