Where do I start. I’ve never worked in a more backwards, backstabby, second-guessing, suspicious organization in my life. Senior leadership are a mess, the company lacks direction and the conviction to take direction anyway, and lacks everything required to some day deliver something. A culture of fear perpetratored by under qualified and overworked middle managers cultivates almost nothing in terms of real achievement. I resigned without a job to go to and I couldn’t have been happier.

The place is rife with nepotism and inept leaders who are focussed on their own agendas that they are failing to lead the bank. The constant turnover of leaders - from Executive level down - leaves the place in a constant state of churn, and lack of progress. The group are so focussed on brand they seem to forget that there needs to be something of substance behind all the cute communications. Hierarchical approach leaves most employees out of the loop. Appears to be a strong focus on communication, but really it is spin-doctoring: They are not interested in listening to the insights of employees. There is a small group of ‘chosen few’ who can do no wrong, undermine those they don’t like, and make a large group of people act in fear of retribution. They talk a lot about the importance of relationships, which is code for over-inflated ego’s that need to be stroked.
