As a salaried employee - BIG NO!

Pros

Met lots of cool people, and the office is nice... but it’s all surface deep. The company has a shiny exterior and as soon as you’re inside it starts to peel away.

Cons

The work load is obscene, MUCH more than what you are initially told and much more than 1 person/positions worth of work. The CEO is cheap and won’t pay a fair salary for as much as you do, and won’t hire more people or even an intern. He’s burned through multiple EA’s within the last year and swaps them as soon as they burn out. He has no plan for the longevity of MEIER, as he’s too busy planning out his “personal coaching”. He shies away from giving constructive criticism to his salaried employees in regards to performance and would rather secretively push them out of the company and leave them on the street instead of resolving issues. I watched him do this to a coworker. If you’re looking to work here on the back end, salaried side of the business- I highly suggest you look elsewhere. You’ll be worked like a horse here until you dread getting out of bed every morning because you have to do it all over again day in and day out.

The people in the office are nice, some very smart people who work tirelessly to help find business for the agents, and learned some social media things and production of videos. I learned some social media stuff and how to create a video. Oh and he provides bagels on Thursdays.. but that is where the compliments end.

Cons

DO NOT BE FOOLED! The good reviews here, all of them, were written at behest of the broker. I know...I was there. I have seen companies like this: The first thing they do is ask you to write a good review. If you have ever been at a company which makes---requests---you do this soon after being there it is a red flag The sleek videos and high-production values cannot mask what is really there. They are like any small-time brokerage: heavy on recruitment and they burn through people. Go to Keller Williams! Go to Century 21! Wherever you go...don't go here. Maybe...maybe if you want to learn a little about social media production, but again: do not be fooled by the glitz...don't be a fool. Good agents who can do better are preparing to leave...so a new class of fools can enter. Some very smart people were there and left, some very smart people are still there and may be able to teach you about the industry, but ...by the time you're there they may be gone. I found a better brokerage. You can too.

This has been one of the most amazing places that I get to call my work home! From Michael, the CEO to the agents, everyone has been supportive and welcoming. I am constantly learning and never criticized for asking questions. My opinions and knowledge are welcomed and encouraged. The open door policy is wonderful and the management continues to make it a priority to support the staff with business and personal needs. The social media branding is unlike any other. I did my research on companies before making my final decision, and MEIER checked all the boxes. Growth, training, technology, personal branding are all what lead me to sign on with MEIER. This is a place that wants to see their agents succeed!

Cons

None! There is no other place that offers all that MEIER does to its staff and management teams. I feel lucky and blessed to be here.
