Pros

LSI is a very small company. The company is growing at a fast pace. Occasional happy hour when top managers are in a good mood.

Cons

This company has a high turnover rate. No one who woks in the lower level staff has been on longer than 2 years. There is no culture whatsoever. There is authoritarian management style. There is no clear work structure, its more like do as I say, not as I do work type environment. Some of the PM's have poor communication skills and project deadlines are constantly missed with the blame shifted to the team members. Low office morale because everyone is scared of management, I had colleagues that cried all the time because management was blaming them for missing deadlines. Managers are constantly discrediting ideas pitched by team members, but they later use then and not credit the team members that came up with them. Top management used to force me to make up hours even though I was a salaried employee which is illegal. Some management team members are very disrespectful when addressing team members and treated us like kids, they micromanage a lot. Every move you make is put under a microscope even though its all for the benefit of the company.

Pros

You get exposed to a diverse group of projects

Cons

No communication Women in leadership treat other women like competition No communication about job performance, good or bad No communication about changing project managers If you aren’t a legacy employee or if you aren’t a man, you are treated very differently If you voice your concerns, you are put on another project with zero warning

Pros

Remote. You'll be rolling your eyes all day but no one can see. Incompetence. Doing slightly more than the least is all you gotta do to shine. Immaturity/Lack of Professionalism: A real Dungeons & Dragons crew roleplaying Grown Up Company. As an actual professional adult, you'll sit back and collect a paycheck while they recreate middle school hierarchies in an effort to come out on top this time. Boomer Communication: 'I' statements? Never heard of them. Revert to petty territoriality, name calling & backstabbing over literally the dumbest things you've ever even thought of. Emotional regulation is not required. 401k is a joke. Matching?! Only the sketchiest, most convoluted profit sharing scheme you've ever heard of, so there's absolutely nothing holding you back from working here while you look for a job at a real company, and then leaving abruptly when you find one. Working was never your dream anyway. Careers are dumb. This job can fund your real goals, although definitely at a rate below market average.

Cons

CONS None at all. This is what they teach in business school if the business school was at a Ren Faire. No matter how you choose to interpret this, you're right.
