Pros

Some nice people. Nice area

Cons

Former MD upset a lot of good employees who subsequently left and now the place is full of headless chickens without any support. Preference towards French students coming over to learn English. HR function is terrible, no clue what anyone does and no interest in development. Glad to be out of there as I left a bad situation. Hopefully things will improve when new management comes in.

AVOID - Treats its staff as disposable.

Pros

Staff alongside you are generally good folk to work with

Cons

Few UK people leave under anything other than a cloud. Management remote, brusque and not interested in listening. Changes to working conditions imposed with no discussion. Absolutely no opportunities for development or advancement. Middle management weak and will not stand against overbearing or destructive decisions from above. Immune to new ideas - macho management style employed if status quo is questioned. Favouritism alive and well.
