Pros

Suitable working hours Low stress Lots of locations

Cons

Given zero chances to take on any amount of responsibility Learnt nothing about the business Given the boring and meaningless tasks in the store (cleaning, delivering, getting lunches, packing boxes, removing rubbish etc.)

Pros

Literally no pros except they buy you work clothes because you have to work in a cramped, cold warehouse which is also a con

Cons

What can I say literally everything no joke. - no proper training on detailed and numerous product range - they say they will promote you but it's just a trap - working with boring people who have no goals or ambitions in life - low wage would rather work at McDonalds no joke - didn't pay me for 4 days work - doing brain-dead jobs like cleaning, putting things away on shelves, loading and unloading pallets, putting drums of wire into a van There is no career progression in this company, numerous people in different centres working there for 10+ years doing the same thing with no promotion. Why would you be any different? If you are a recent graduate stay away because you wont enjoy the work and will be much happier and successful at a different company. You will be treated like a slave ordered around to clean and put things away.

Hardly seems like a real graduate program

Pros

- friendly people at branches - free coffee - work life balance is okay

Cons

- no structure to the 'graduate program' - minimal training, being thrown into tasks - low salaries outside of management and key accounts - weekly unpaid overtime (the 'profit share bonus' barely makes up for the low salaries let alone all the overtime) - a 'lazy mans' job - talking to tradies over the counter and on the phone, then packing up their goods to be delivered or taken to their van. In the downtime, you can expect to stock shelves, perform stocktakes and chat with coworkers. Realistically, this job is more suited to high school graduates and could offer decent progression in that case. - inappropriate comments and unprofessionalism - boring and repetitive tasks, no challenges, no development of skills outside of communication - almost nonexistent gender diversity and lack of diversity in general
