Pros

VP of Delivery is a great guy and knows his stuff.

Cons

Lacks a dedicated leadership team. Back office pushes paper and fills orders. No team. No moving from one project to another. You’re in then you’re done. You’re just a number until your project ends.

Pros

Remote work with no required travel so far

Cons

When the project is over there’s no bench. You’re fired. It’s a gig shop with a temp employment agency mindset. No PTO & v expensive benefits. No management knows what I do. I work for the client basically. There’s a lot of turnover with people quitting. It’s embarrassing to hear the customer ask what’s going on that people are leaving. A lot of people left since I started Even tho it’s remote work they don’t cover cost of phone or internet. So cheap! In the beginning I was told I had to bill the customer for nonworking time. There were weeks where I didn’t have a laptop even. It was unethical but they said if I wanted to be paid I had to bill and if they don’t get paid I don’t get paid. It feels like a startup out for fast money. I swear it’s a body shop I’m not even sure there’s a building lol

Pros

They do offer bench time when not on a project

Cons

They do not know to use their resources to keep you employed with them. I had worked with a lot of talented folks that should have been easy to move from project to project but everyone I know once they were done with their projects MMY would have them on the bench for a few months then laid them off. They do not have the skills to keep great talent on the payroll. If you working on a long or short term project do not depend on MMY to help you find another project, you have to find it yourself.
