Pros

Leaving at the end of the day. Also, there are a lot of great, hardworking people who are always there to support each other.

Cons

Management is clueless and gets to continue costing the company hundreds of thousands of dollars in unnecessary overhead, regardless of their effectiveness. When you go above and beyond and ask for more responsibilities and challenges in the hopes of better compensation, they basically tell you that you are not ready and that you will fail, regardless of your extraneous efforts.

Pros

Nepotism, been here 3+ years

Cons

Since 2015 new sales management positions were created and they do nothing more than play favorites and baby sit the poor performing sales reps. MNJ sales numbers have dropped in 2015 and 2016 by nearly 3% according to Crain's Business. MNJ also acquired a Cloud services company during this time. Many of the original people from that company have moved on. The Cloud services offerings are so bad that management increased the sales incentive to 40% of the deal. One word: Desperate! The environment is unprofessional and management does nothing to improve the culture. Many of the benefits others boast in prior posts no longer exist and the benefits do suck. Are Wednesday free lunches and 25 cent cans of pop real benefits? Management continues to promote a workplace of the haves and have nots. Certain downtown reps get to cherry pick leads and get offered marketing generated opportunities. Meanwhile the majority of sales aren’t provided adequate tools or the same opportunities. The company has no CRM. High body count support the salesforce and most are people many other companies would not hire. Who is MNJ customers ask? Go to the website. It looks great but beyond the marketing there is no substance. MNJ is nothing more than a box pusher and cannot compete against CDW, Insight and many of the other real VARS. Previous posts titled Instant Regret, Read it and Weep, Very happy I left and Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy best describe MNJ. The positive posts appear to be written by management as propaganda. The mass exit is around the corner!
