Pros

Management is flexible if you have an appointment or need to be out of the office for certain reasons. The individual employees are great to work with and the environment is fun when management is not in the office.

Cons

When I was first hired, I was told it was a fun, relaxed, happy environment that allowed for collaboration. Unfortunately, after I was hired I learned that the company has a known high turnover rate. Within my time at MSA, several employees quit when there is only about 8 or 9 total in the company. Management has an unrealistic expectation for deadlines and expects you to work late hours (sometimes until the morning) and weekends. To them, everything is a "fire" and needed to get done immediately even though you already had several deadlines that same week. Management also doesn't encourage employees to talk between each other or give praise and recognition. Most employees were unhappy for a variety of reasons but management does not offer reviews or an environment where someone feels comfortable enough to talk about their concerns. Another major issue is the owner of the company complaining about employees when they are not in the office to others. There has been a few instances where I was the one the owner was talking to about a current employee poorly and instances where I could hear her conversations with others. It makes it for a really poor and awkward environment.
