Pros
Peers and team are pretty good. Not much else.
Cons
Very abusive management team. Low pay and virtually no path or opportunity for advancement. And the low raises, below cost of living, meaning you are working for less and less each year. Yet demand on workload increases and requires many long hour days. Clear expectations are not given on projects along with unrealistic goals. When a realistic goal and deadline is proposed, it is shot down and the constant yelling at the team to beat the unrealistic deadline begins. Management by fear is the overall tactic. And my manager made it perfectly clear to me, in a one on one, it is what it is so get back to work. I thought it was me until I talked to other team members and he treats them the same way. Worst manger ever. Didn't take long to decide I wasn't going to succumb to this type of unprofessionalism the rest of my career. So I happily left for another opportunity with an organization that believes in its teams and their input.
