Pros

Tremendous future with this company. They are leading their competitors in contracts with the VA. Access to senior management is excellent as the CEO has an open door policy for all employees. Management recognizes those with talent and will promote them quickly to fill new positions caused by rapid growth. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.

Cons

As expected for a growing company, the policies tend to change quickly to account for the growth. Lack of a 401K program.

Negative reviews for a reason

Pros

Nothing positive to say about MSLA Pasadena.

Cons

Brown nosers try to micromanage and do not know how to work as a team instead they pawn off work that they failed to complete. The Pasadena location is old, musty smelling and a depressing place to work at. Another reviewer mentioned the word sweatshop and they are right. They have unhappy Providers and Veterans due to being understaffed. It probably would be an ok start up job but for someone with experience it's definitely a step down. I read the negative reviews before taking the position and I should have listened.

Pros

Flexible work hours. Dental, health, and vision insurance. Insightful hard working people.

Cons

Policy changes without formal notice due to new COO in charge. Cutting cost in all the wrong areas for profits since the Director stepped down. "At will" employment Hard work isn't backed up by relevant raises (if any at all) or bonuses. Nothing is set in stone unless otherwise written (broken promises, runaround). Job instability. Vacation days (4 a year?) Questionable use to power (I'm not quite sure if some of the things they do are legal). High turnover rate in all departments (I've seen some very hard working good people leave).
