Pros

Government style working : You can stay in the company as long as u want, but with minimal hikes. No one is questioning and team leader will run it's like its own small kingdom.

Cons

Management & Investment's Style and Conduct: Autocratic Leadership: The CIO tends to operate in an authoritarian manner, making unilateral decisions in hurry without consulting the team or considering diverse perspectives. Investment decisions are often executed informally and superficially, akin to casual “high tea” conversations. Lack of Integrity: There appears to be little commitment to acting in the best interest of the promoters, with decisions often influenced by personal gain (known bankers) rather than organizational benefit. Likewise, promoters demonstrate limited concern or oversight regarding these practices. Questionable Deal-Making: There is a pattern of prioritizing numerous small-scale ("byte-sized") deals, seemingly to create a track record or potentially to earn additional income in collaboration with bankers. Toxic Work Culture: The leadership style has contributed to a hostile and toxic work environment, negatively impacting team morale and productivity. Poor Leadership & Team Management: There is a recognized lack of effective leadership and team management skills, resulting in unclear direction and minimal support for team members. High Employee Turnover: The department is experiencing significant attrition, which may be attributed to the negative work culture and inadequate management practices. Limited Mentorship Capability: The CIO demonstrates minimal capability or willingness to mentor and develop the team, hindering professional growth and skill development. CIO is much busy in attending events or travelling US, rather than his core focus work which is actual investing or doing ground work. Investment happend when he is in India, otherwise no one is bothered or anyone is even is interested in it.
