The role was materially misrepresented during the interview process. What was positioned as a growth-focused opportunity turned out to be a collection of neglected or stagnant accounts with no clear strategy, limited engagement, and unrealistic expectations for turnaround without resources. Onboarding was chaotic and set the tone immediately. There was no structured ramp, frequent administrative errors, and ongoing confusion around compensation, tools, and internal processes. Unfortunately, these issues continued through offboarding, including inaccuracies in basic HR handling such as accrued vacation. Leadership was one of the most concerning aspects. There was a noticeable lack of competency in both sales execution and technology understanding, combined with inconsistent direction and minimal accountability. Rather than providing clarity or support, management often introduced more ambiguity, making it difficult to execute effectively or build momentum. The delivery and operating model felt fragmented. Heavy reliance on offshore resources without strong coordination led to disconnects in ownership, communication gaps, and challenges in delivering a cohesive client experience. After roughly six months, the role was eliminated under the explanation of “restructuring.” Given how the role was initially positioned, this raised serious concerns about transparency and planning at the leadership level. Overall, the experience reflected deeper systemic issues rather than isolated challenges.
