It was GREAT while it lasted... Too top heavy...
Pros
It was a fantastic opportunity to grow as an Engineer and I had the blessing of working there for 7.5 years. I worked on many of the core HW products currently being offered. Axon air (AP60), Proximity TX and Tags and had the privilege of working with a group of extremely competent engineers. There are some brilliant products and some very clever technical solutions that the end user will never fully appreciate.
Cons
I can't say I felt thrilled with management after 2017. Management at the time I left showed absolutely no personal interest in the technology itself. It was all "Sell, sell sell!" and customer support was absolutely abysmal. Management was the core reason I left because I could not see a viable future for the company with the current members (2019/2020). They are simply weathering the storm off the work that people long gone have done. There is no 'new innovation' Professional experienced feedback from Engineering was categorically ignored to the great cost of the Company. Buzzword compliance became a statute and managerial ambitions overrode proper strategic planning.
