Pros

WFH was very nice. Most local co-workers were chill and dedicated and very good at their jobs. Travel opportunities were awesome and it was great to work with a diverse group of folks from all over the world. I enjoyed the active collab that we’d have locally and most people WANT to make some improvements and positive change. Program-level folks are awesome and fun.

Cons

MSX has a real business model issue. They sell 2 or 3 year contracts they know aren’t profitable, then when it comes up for renewal, they hike up the price and hope the OE doesn’t notice. Doesn’t work out most of the time. There is no “one best way” for really anything. The majority of the company has a really unsustainable business model. And what they don’t acknowledge is that the company is bound by BPO contracts. So don’t even try to change or improve anything, because, as a company, MSX has pretty much no control over any aspect of the process or technology. 90% of contacts are simply rented bodies. Why invest time and effort if a contract is going away in a few years? When we don’t own really any aspect of the contract except for the labor, how can we be innovative? Don’t expect any support from anyone above Senior level, or anyone above a specific program. Most of the “corporate” resources are absolutely absentee and actively undermine local resources. Lots of showboating and “look at how busy I am” going on. Senior Strategy staff is clueless and cruel. Have witnessed some absolutely toxic and borderline unethical practices coming from the Strategy Office. CEO is so out of touch it’s laughable. I follow most of the top leaders on LinkedIn and they have these hilarious AI slop posts about “innovation”. They don’t even try to hide the fact it’s made with a basic ChatGPT promot. They make for entertaining and laughable reading though. The worst part is being undermined all the time. So many times I’d start a project, only to find out someone else (usually an inexperienced European colleague) has taken it over and took it in a completely new direction. Also, was here for three years, not a single raise, bonus, or even a merit increase. REALLY? No thanks. I’d try and steer clear of MSX.

Pros

WFH and they pay on time. If this is your only option, I guess take it.

Cons

No direction, all talk no action. Absentee execs, revolving door line managers, zero chance for advancement, 0 chance at pay raiae more than a 1%. On a call with the entire company, after listening to execs ramble on and on about wins and successes, of 7k people on the call, 1 question was asked: when are we getting raises? CEO, with all his charm and charisma, word vonitted something and the call was abruptly ended on a "technical difficulty"
