Pros

Agency has grown from a small print shop to a more diverse print/branding/web company over the years due to the talent that's attracted. This also makes it a very open and welcoming environment that produces great work when everyone is allowed to focus. Team members are skilled and experienced, and opinions and perspectives are shared openly and respected. Management and ownership are incredibly flexible with hours and work arrangements so as long as there is a long track record of performance.

Cons

Constant snags occur in internal processes due to overthinking simple problems. Often times resulting in better work, but sometimes hindering timetables and internal production pipeline dramatically. Lack of vertical structure across some teams minimizes opportunities for mentoring. Great if the entire team is self-motivated and at least a little competitive, not so great if someone needs direction.

Hellishly bad management

Pros

The team as a whole can be supportive and friendly under the right circumstances.

Cons

Massively dysfunctional culture that trickles down from the leadership of the company. Since the leadership directly involves itself in every project and literally is the entire sales team, there's no way to escape its toxic influence. The leadership is passive aggressive, socially awkward and fifteen years behind the times in some aspects of digital marketing. If you're invested in the good of the client, this will be a frustrating and unsatisfying place to work. In a nutshell: read the other reviews. All of the negative commentary from them is still true. I have never been managed by leadership that I trusted less than I did at MVP.

Poor Leadership

Pros

Some flexibility with working hours 8-4, 9-5, 10-6, whatever will work with your schedule outside of work; pretty typical for an office. Open office is nice, if your into that kind of thing.

Cons

Leadership at the company is terrible, one person in charge acting like a dictator; everyone else is beneath him and he does whatever he wants with no consequences. Being the owner of the company is great, but it doesn't entitle you to treat your employees like second class citizens, they're people not money machines.
