Job Security: Layoffs occur frequently, and voluntary departures are even more common. Job security seems largely dependent on one's connections with higher-ups on the corporate side. Unfortunately, there's a sense that most employees are easily replaceable, and rather than investing in training and development, the company tends to hire new staff when issues arise. Compensation Issues: There have been multiple instances of payroll problems, including staff not being paid on time, incorrect benefit deductions, and missed 401(k) contributions. These issues have caused significant frustration and financial stress among employees. Autonomy in Role: There’s very little autonomy in day-to-day tasks. Decisions are often second-guessed by management, and attempts to seek clarification on tasks are met with impatience and criticism for not completing them sooner. Nepotism & Cronyism: Hiring practices often favor friends and family over more qualified internal or external candidates. This has led to unqualified individuals being placed in significant management roles without accountability, while frontline staff are often blamed and terminated when things go wrong.
