Pros

Casual work environment. Pizza lunches once every two weeks. Nice offices in central Gatineau. Most people are casually friendly.

Cons

Widespread misery as BlackBerry went down. Two waves of mass layoffs at the end of 2013. Hugely demoralizing, and they haven't stopped since. People do the minimum to talk to each other, the rest of the time they're silo'd. Little sense of mission. In that sense it's not unusual for a consultancy.

- Flexible hours, working remotely even before pandemic. - Ability to get exposure to the variety of projects and technologies. - Very nice opportunity for new grads to gain a lot of experience fast.

Cons

- Funeral morale levels. - Pay lower than comparable companies. - Higher management spends their time looking for scapegoats for their own mistakes. - Disengaged leadership. - Company direction changes every 1-2 years. - Very tight deadlines and overloading people with work.
