Pros
None unless you live in the area and do not have to travel into the city. If you are a poor performer you can probably work there a long time because they do not get rid of poor employees they just keep transferring them to other departments.
Cons
The place is absolutely filthy! Not only the hospital but all the brownstone offices. The place looks like Florence Nightingale completed her clinical training there and no upgrades have been done since. They do not give merit raises instead senior leadership never take a cut yet create smoke screens to claim financial loses and use that as an excuse to reduce staff dumping more work on everyone else. Even if you live in the area do yourself a favor, get the metro card and go to MANHATTAN to a REAL hospital.
