Cons
1. Management is notoriously dishonest and disrespectful. Very good at talking, which makes them all the more skilled at manipulating and taking advantage of workers. Unsurprisingly, turnover rate is sky high! 2. Management is also arrogant and unprofessional. They do not listen to feedback, even if you hold a very objective and constructive physical meeting, face-to-face, one-on-one, with documents and agenda and next steps all penned out, with them. This honestly surprised me, because how much more direct does an employee have to be to raise concerns? 3. Middle management is pretty much just a puppet to top management. 4. So much drama and politics for such a small company. Office is also extremely noisy and hard to focus in. And if you try to find a quiet space to concentrate on your work, management will end up using it against you during your “KPI review” for being anti-social. Good lord, you get punished for trying to be hardworking here! 5. Yes, “KPI review” in inverted commas because of the atrocious lack of any such processes. Management has a history for very sly and cunning HR patterns, such as failing or extending probations by their whim and fancy, and underhanded means to make people quit because they don’t want to fire them the proper way. I strongly encourage anyone applying for this company to request for a chat with existing employees to verify the working conditions here before signing your contract.
