Growing way too fast. At the heart of it they are acquiring companies so fast often 2-3 per year with no clear idea of how to effectively integrate the roles of those employees often leaving people in silos while they hand everything to their people (who are honestly not even that good) and not taking the time to explore the talent among the orgs they buy. They fail to communicate often don’t have directions themselves and upper management is a joke. Overinflated titles and unrealistic goals. HR is clueless and sales leaders are the worst Ive seen in this industry. Run as fast as you can from this place.

Everything about Norstella, right down to the unlimited PTO, is a scam. It’s unfortunately a very *sales first* culture; and you know what that means: employees are generally overworked, underpaid, under appreciated, subject to constant shifting priorities and goals, treated patronizingly, and having to navigate political land minds. Nothing about the culture here is “normal” - in fact, outside of the few (or many?) who either navigate the politics effectively or who perpetuate the politics, employees cannot expect career growth and support, job stability, challenging opportunities, and compassionate leadership. Inefficiency and miscommunication reign supreme as these tactics are tools perpetuated by upper management to keep subordinates in check and fearful of losing their jobs or being reprimanded (usually both).
