Pros

Great benefits, competitive salary & growth opportunity. A stable, solid job for an engineer. Excellent vacation, sick, holiday time off plan to accommodate Jehovah's Witness faith system and non-Christians allowing all to observe, or not be forced to observe, bank holidays. Very good system in that regard.

Cons

Terrible, lazy management. A free-for-all. Blatant nepotism, upper management turns a blind eye to poor treatment of subordinates, there is a culture of shady ethical business practices that is widely accepted. Many employees are miserable and the project managers have no accountability for their own bad behavior.

Pros

Wide variety of opportunities within the engineering consulting fields.

Cons

Too many highly compensated executives. Most employees are over-titled and over-compensated.

Pros

Great product and dedicated and talented frontline people. Great potential.

Cons

The software division has a culture of lying to both customers and employees. They started off as a Minimally Viable Product group which survived by telling customers and potential new employees whatever they need to hear regardless of facts. That culture remains. Potential employees are promised fantastic positions and bonuses only to have those removed when the employee is hired or goals achieved. Morale, turnover and company performance are terrible despite having a near product monopoly. Senior executive corporate management turns a blind eye despite the software executives consistently violating corporate ethics rules. The software executives are also very inexperienced and insecure in their positions so protect those positions through intimidation and punishment.
