Overworked, ignored covid restrictions, gaslighting
Pros
Met some great people who work in store
Cons
Extremely overworked, working 9-6 or 11.30-8-30 without given the opportunity to have a break. Immensely overbooked everyday to the point of a mental breakdown. Expected to go beyond your role while the people that hold higher job titles sit back and relax. Pretends they’re above board but really operating illegally behind the scenes without any professional knowledge. They run talent through fear of retaliation with strict non competes. Illegally docking pay and sent further proof of them illegally docking my pay. Made to work in poor conditions, bypassing any health and safety laws. Some days would be so hot, staff would throw up in the summer. along came the winter which subsequently, was so cold that you’d have to wear multiple jackets as well as machinery freezing over rendering them useless and forced to bypass the sterilisation methods the company so highly upholds publicly. When reaching out to the corporate team, they just gaslight you and tell you what they think you want to hear. Made to come into work with a positive covid test and bypassed all covid restrictions in store leaving staff at high risk of contracting covid. When other members of staff communicated to corporate they had positive covid tests, the corporate team would not relay the information to any of the staff that were exposed to that member of staff.
