- leader/boss that seriously believes in you even when you aren’t believing in yourself at times! - excellent standard of coaching and access to training programmes - great team - no animosity, everyone gets on and truly cares about their colleagues and genuine happiness watching other people do well - lovely waterside office - Marine Resources has a fantastic reputation in the industry so (mainly thanks to the leader of the business who is well liked across the industry) - worklife balance - generous holiday allowance plus the option to buy holiday - conscious of the importance of well being, access to a wellbeing fund where you can use money to purchase something good for your well-being/hobby and also the use of a well-being hour whereby we can use an hour each week to do something that makes us feel good! - team events and regular fun activities in the office like pizza day etc - fantastic commission structure - hybrid working - above all I have to highlight the leader of the business, I would really struggle working for anyone else now I’ve worked for the best of the best!
Great culture especially around flexible working (well before it was a 'thing' in lockdown). They punch above their weight with clients and are really well respected in the industry probably as the leadership team were so good at their jobs and well respected as individuals. Other Pros: growth/ learning opportunities, fun place to work out, good team buildings activities
Cons
As with all recruitment / sales roles it can be long hours and out of hours to fit with the clients and candidates. Also the base salary is low as you rely on sales commissions. Career opportunities can be slow depending on the market you're in and whether you want to grow a team
