Pros
Greate place to earn a PhD degree and learn a lot of scientific materials. Being in contact with professional scientists and emprove the scientific skills and qualifications.
Cons
No job contract . Rarely one obtains a job contract even after 10 years of work. The contracts are mostly as internship and you work as a student under some agreement but with the obligation of working 40hr per week. Maternity leave is not paid (at least for 5 months you have no right to work and you will not be paid at all). No pension is paid for the researchers who are treated as students. Huge amount of work with minimum salaries (even less that 800euros per month)
