small firm and you learn alot; access to senior people at firm and client; great job early in your career because you see a variety of industries and companies
Cons
there is no training program so if you can't learn on the job you will get buried; it gets very busy around earnings; very detail oriented position which can get tedious sometimes

Really unique role for a young professional to learn about equity markets as well as corporate finance. You have the opportunity to work and build relationships directly with C-level execs of some really interesting companies as well as with buyside and sellside analysts. Lots of opportunities to network and sometimes travel with clients to meet with investors. The senior team has extensive wall street backgrounds so they are great resources to learn about the industry. There is a lot of autonomy in the analyst/associate level roles, so if you're someone that needs hand-holding and structure, you will not do well. However, if you do well and "get it," there is the opportunity to eventually take on your own clients and manage their IR programs. Great work/life balance and MSP really aims to take care of their employees.
Cons
There is not a formal training program, which isn't necessarily the worst thing, as I believe you learn best by doing. So you need to develop good relationships with the other analysts as they will be great resources when you get instructions from a partner and have no idea what he/she means.
